ironmongery: Mild steel
The concept behind the project was to create a new design for the millennium which was also one that complemented the Church setting. As a result traditional materials and crafts were utilised but combined and used with a modern accent. Three artists were involved: | ||

Whilst the external ironmongery is minimal and functional, internally the work is more apparent and detailed. The Monkey tail bolts, Lever latch and Frame ties all have shared themes of leaf ends and twisting texture. | ![]() |
