| The Duck Weather Vane at Medmenham Abbey in
Berkshire was in bad need of attention when we were commissioned to restore
it. We stripped and cleaned it, and replaced the wings completely. It was
then reassembled and painted with new gilding.
After we gave it a good ‘overhaul’ this distinctive weather vane will be able to cope with all the seasons for many decades to come. |
